Florie Dupont is the artist with whom the gallery opened its very first exhibition back in 2007. A high long thin pedestal was custom made to present a series of 30-ish different rings from materials like wood, silver, gold, jade, skulls, teeth and quartz. Like on a runway, the rings displayed her own style. She had just graduated from the Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam. Since then she moved her career to Geneva to work in an atelier of Haute Joaillerie so she could learn to master the discipline of stone setting. Combining the perfect fit of a piece of jewelry together with the right effect of the light from the stones requires vision and technicality. Her style remains unchanged, her materials and details evolve to finer and richer. Her personality and pieces mature along the way. Jewelry upon special commissions for both men and women.
